Pierce Chemical was founded in 2024 by me, Matthew Pierce - a chemist, process engineer, and regulatory affairs expert with experience in metal finishing, cosmetics, food, and pharmaceutical production. I hold two master’s degrees in pharmaceutical chemistry and forensic toxicology, and a bachelor's in chemistry.
History, and the Future...
I began this company after a layoff from the aerospace industry in February of 2024, after the building I worked in was severely damaged during a storm. I realized that the skills and knowledge I developed over the years working in R&D, regulatory affairs, QA/QC, and process engineering could be very useful to manufacturing companies in a broad range of industries.
My prior work experience includes getting a company GMP certified during COVID, submitting a 510(k) to the FDA, engaging in audits from NADCAP, AS9100, the FDA, NSF, the NTSB, the FAA, and internal audits from companies like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics and more.
I've held positions such as an R&D technician, lab manager, director of regulatory affairs, plant general manager, and process engineer. During this time, I developed connections locally with suppliers of chemicals and laboratory equipment, and started my other company, Kalifornia Kratom.
After starting Kalifornia Kratom I became quite popular in the alternative medicinal market and started helping other companies within that industry develop and implement extraction procedures for natural substances and their conversion into semi synthetics using what I learned in organic chemistry.
I currently operate as the CEO of Kalifornia Kratom and the owner of Pierce Chemical LLC; I take on clients for my consulting services one at a time. I don't operate off of a price list or charge for information; I get to know my clients and their business well, and bound by an NDA, discuss what services I can be of assistance with and go from there.
